Introduction
The Place is an exciting new building providing Sunniside with its own state-of-the-art business and arts centre, accommodating performance space, art gallery/exhibition spaces, a café, meeting rooms and a range of business suites and artists` studios.
The aim of the project was to provide affordable, high quality commercial spaces, targeted to a range of potential occupiers including SME’s and artists. In addition to the commercial spaces available, the building provides a large ground floor café space which opens out into the central atrium, and a flexible performance and conference room. The building also houses a dedicated gallery space which opens up into its central atrium, providing a much needed venue for local artists to exhibit their works.
